The 6th International Theological Conference of the Institute of Consecrated Life in Africa had a grand opening ceremony attended by esteemed guests, including Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke, the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Bishop Hilary Dachelem, the Catholic Bishop of Bauchi Diocese, CMF, Bishop Donatus Ogun, OSA and other priests, and religious leaders from various congregations. The InCLA Community joins Claretians Worldwide to mark The Father Founders Day - ST ANTHONY MARY CLARET, Archbishop of Cuba, and founder of the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Born on December 23rd, 1807, and died on October 24th, 1870. With hands lifted in thanksgiving to God for the gift of Anthony Mary Claret to the church, the community offered prayers to God for our needs and the needs of others through the intercession of Anthony Claret.
